Terms & Conditions

These terms apply whenever you buy from or use this site.

Who we are

Wristbuilt is a UK-based business selling DIY watch kits and parts. Trading name: Wristbuilt. Address: [PLACEHOLDER: registered business address]. Company number: [PLACEHOLDER: company number, once registered]. Contact: hello@wristbuilt.co.

Orders & acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted, and a contract of sale formed, when your payment is successfully taken. You'll get a payment receipt by email from Stripe, our payment provider. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if a part is out of stock — and will refund you in full if we do.

Pricing

You can view prices in a number of currencies, but every order is charged in pounds sterling (GBP) — the other currencies are shown as a guide only, using an approximate rate. The amount your bank charges you may differ slightly, and your bank may add its own conversion fee. Prices do not include import duties, taxes, or customs handling charges, which — for international and EU orders — may be charged separately on delivery and are your responsibility (see our Shipping page). We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order is confirmed.

Pre-orders & delivery times

Everything on this site is currently sold as a pre-order, and you agree that delivery may take up to the window shown for the warehouse you choose at checkout — 14–45 days from our China warehouse, 30–90 days from our UK warehouse. These are estimates and already include the pre-order lead time. If we can't deliver within the window you agreed, you can contact us to set a new date, or cancel for a full refund. Your 14-day right to cancel (see Returns) runs from when you receive the goods, not from when you order — so a long wait never shortens it.

Risk & ownership

Ownership of the parts you order passes to you once payment is received in full. Risk passes to you once the item is delivered to the address you provided.

Your responsibility during a build

Building a watch involves small parts, tools, and adhesives. You're responsible for building safely and, where a build isn't completed as intended, we aren't liable for damage to the parts caused during assembly outside of a manufacturing fault — see our Returns page for what's covered. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under English law, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Cancellation & returns

As a consumer you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason — see our Returns page for how this works, including the condition parts must be returned in and the model cancellation form.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
